How to disable Launches?

AEM provided new functionality launches that enable us to efficiently develop the content for a future release of one or more activated web pages. When upgrading to AEM 5.6 the Launches will be enabled by default. How to temporarily disable the "Launches" functionality in the Sidekick till you take time to test & train authors?

Currently, the sidekick can't be controlled by ACL and the overall functionality of the sidekick is available in the Sidekick.js file present under /libs/cq/ui/widgets/source/widgets/wcm/ folder structure. To remove launcher from sidekick overlay Sidekick.js and comment out getLaunchPanelConfig. To simplify Install the attached package. Whenever you would like to enable launches to uninstall the package.
