Improve Page Load Performance in Firefox

By default, current versions of Firefox only allows 6 concurrent persistent connections to a server at any given time. More here. This affects page load performance of CQ “author”.

You might be able to improve it by changing this setting.

1) Start Firefox
2) Navigate to about:config
3) Type in network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server
4) Try a higher number such as 12 or 20
5) Test to see if page load performance improves. If not, set it right back to how it was.
